Vasco Curdia joined the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in August 2006. He is currently an Economist in the Macroeconomic and Monetary Studies Function of the Research and Statistics Group. Mr. Curdia is a macroeconomist, with particular interests in monetary policy. His current research uses theoretical and empirical dynamic stochastic general equilibrium models to analyze monetary policy, namely in the presence of credit frictions. Mr. Curdia received his Ph.D. from Princeton University.
