Gizem Kosar is a research economist in Consumer Behavior Studies within the Household and Public Policy Research Division. Her research interests include labor and public economics with applications to public assistance programs, consumer bankruptcy, negotiations in the labor market, and household bargaining. Her current research focuses on the impact of the Earned Income Tax Credit on the life-cycle wage growth of single women, the determinants of Chapter 13 bankruptcy outcomes, and wage negotiations in a private information setting. Gizem received her PhD in Economics from Johns Hopkins University in August 2015.
